Description

This is the perfect day for people that like to spend time in the outdoors. It is an easy to moderate walk. Transport is included in the price. This day trip is for a small group (max. 8 people).

After a two hour drive on a Minivan we will get to the starting point. We will go for a walk to get an overview of the Somontano valley. Later visit Ainsa and an old romanesque church. When we finish you will take a good idea of the beauty of the these mountains and their history.

The medieval village of Ainsa is one the most beautiful in Spain. From the castle, you will have a panorama of the Pyrenees mountain range and particularly, the sentinel rock of La Peña Montañesa. Walking among these old stoned houses is going back in time to the 11th century.

The modern part of Ainsa is at the confluence of the Cinca and the Ara rivers. This area is a busy crossroad with small shops and local restaurants.
